Summary: | <p align="justify">In the Middle Size League Robot, kicker is an important component that must be owned by a robot. The kicker has several types. In this paper will be discussed the design and implementation of the solenoid as a kicking device in the Middle Size League Robot. Solenoid is a kicking device widely used by teams competing in the Robocup competition. Solenoid is chosen because it does not require a large space and the resulting kick power can be well controlled. The design discussed in this paper has been implemented on Dagozilla ITB team and tested on Kontes Robot Indonesia 2018 at the regional level. The solenoid design is capable of producing an initial velocity up to 11.58629 m / s with an elevation angle of 26.391 degree and the maximum height is 1.3523 m. <p align="justify"> <br />
