Fuel cell has high energy conversion and environmentally friendly. Recently, Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) is one of the promising developments in fuel cell system. SOFC can be applied to micro-scale combined heat and power generation (micro CHP) as power plants in housing. SOFC uses solid electrolyte so that electrodes corrosion can be avoided. Currently, low-temperature SOFC (500-700oC) is being widely developed because it costs less than the conventional SOFC (~1000oC).
