The existence of a plot of land mines EHS opening in the sub-watershed Bolaang create acid mine water issues into consideration. In order to avoid issues of water quality changes, a series of hydrogeological and hydrogeochemistry investigations conducted to determine baseline water environment. <br /> <br /> Hydrogeological system around Bolaang Sub-Watershed consists of aquifers with fractured and porous media. Andesite and diorite bedrock has been alteration resulting in enrichment of mineralization EHS marked by the discovery of sulphide minerals chalcopyrite, pyrite, hematite and limonite. Soluble sulphide minerals causing changes in pH, DO, TDS to increase sulphate and dissolved trace metals such as As, Cu, Fe, Pb, Zn and Mn which can affect the quality of the water environment. Results of hydrogeochemistry analysis showed the study area baseline groundwater environment is still quite good but the surface water was still inadequate and need to be done a certain treatment. text
