Taman Cibeunying transfer station receive 61.49 m3 of waste each day which transported to regional landfill in four trips. Based on Bandung Waste Management Masterplan, all waste transfer stations in Bandung will be converted into 3R waste transfer station. Taman Cibeunying 3R transfer station will expand and have total area 553 m2. Maximum design capacity of the waste transfer station is 9.17 ton/day. Manual sorting process will be equipped with conveyor belts. There will be an anaerobic digester to process biodegradable organic waste. Its design capacity is 2000 kg/day and has retention time 21 days. Manual sorting and anaerobic digester will reduce the need of waste transfer into landfill by respectively 5,7% and 21,8%. The amount of waste will be transferred to landfill each day is 5.37 tonnes or 15.34 m3 in two truck rotations. 3R transfer station will be equipped with waste receiving area, conveyor belts for manual sorting, biodegradable shredder, anaerobic digester, also supporting facilities in the form of toilets, workers room, office and equipment storage room. text
