Summary: |
The purpose of this research is to analyze the comparison of overlay thickness as needed on the National road Pantura Bts.Pamanukan-Sewo West Java by using AASHTO 1993 method and EVERSERIES Program based on the the capacity of structural condition using deflection data from Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD). The analysis of the two methods, in AASHTO 1993 method assumsing pavement modeling only two layers from deflection data, and then determine the value of Resilient Modulus (MR) and Pavement Effective Modulus (Ep), then used in determining the value of SNeff (Structural Number Effective), SNf (Structural Number in Future) and added layer on EVERSERIES Program, FWD deflection data is input into the EVERCALC Program to calculate the stiffness modulus with process backcalculation, then on EVERPAVE Program determine added layer thickness ratio (overlay) based on existing pavement condition. Based on the analysis of AASHTO 1993 method, that needed ranging from 12 cm to 14 cm overlay, depending on the value of SNeff (Structural Number Effective) on each segment. While the result overlay of the EVERSERIES Progrsm based on EBERPAVE quite varied ranging from 15 cm to 18 cm of several modeling layers. Comparison of the result from two methods, showing that overlay neede on EVERSERIES Program greater than AASHTO 1993 method related to the modeling assumption are reviewed layer.
|
