Description
Summary:
Server Room Monitoring System is a system that integrates several sensors that can detect server room environments such as temperature, humidity, airflow, availability of electric current, and server room entry, so that under these conditions can be monitored periodically. The system is also expected to prevent data loss due to the demise of a major power source by integrating an electric current measuring sensor and communications module to provide a warning by sending an SMS (Short Message Service) to the owner. One important component of the system, the GUI (Graphical User Interface), serves as a link between systems and operators to interact with each other. The GUI of Server Room Monitoring System will be available in the form of SMS and website which is equipped with internet security standard. In addition, there are also results of monitoring server room in the form of image capture (screenshots) and recordings stored in hard disk storage media and micro SD card. GUI is designed in such a way as to facilitate the owner or admin of the server room to determine the condition of server room on a periodic basis.
