Education is influenced by many factors, one of which is learning facilities and infrastructure. In 2014, there were 70 percent more schools in Indonesia that did not meet minimum service standards. Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri (SMAN) 4 Bandung is considered not to meet the standards of existing facilities. Based on preliminary observations, found learning facilities in damaged or bad conditions such as tables, chairs and windows. From the results of the initial survey regarding musculoskeletal complaints distributed to 76 students, there are complaints at the neck of 53.9%, on the shoulder at 55.3%, in the upper back at 60.5%, and in the waist is 48.7%. <br /> <br /> The purpose of the study was to evaluate learning facilities at SMAN 4 Bandung and provide suggestions for improving ergonomic facilities for students. Ergonomics evaluation is limited to the scope of teaching and learning facilities in the classroom. This is because the main activities at school are done in the classroom. There are 3 types of problems found when the evaluation is carried out. Anthropometry problems, conditions of teaching and learning facilities, and physical environment. <br /> <br /> The conclusion of this study is that the learning desk and chair facilities currently do not accommodate all students. Some facilities that are not in good condition are tables, chairs, teacher desks, teacher chairs, windows, cabinets, floors and cleaning tools. The condition of the physical environment that is outside the existing threshold is the temperature and air velocity, while the humidity is still within the existing threshold. text |
