The purpose of writing this final assignment is to evaluate the capacity of the <br /> <br /> existing drainage system at ITB Jatinangor Campus. The development of ITB <br /> <br /> Jatinangor Campus until 2017 has erected new buildings for educational purposes. <br /> <br /> Therefore an evaluation needs to be done to make sure the existing drainage system <br /> <br /> is functioning properly. This research uses daily precipitation data from year 2005 <br /> <br /> thru 2015 while the stations being used are Tanjungsari, Cibiru, and Jatiroke. The <br /> <br /> design flood discharge is obtained from Log Pearson type III distribution with <br /> <br /> return period of 5 years. Aside from analytical method, research is also executed <br /> <br /> using software programming with EPA-SWMM version 5.1. Analytical results show <br /> <br /> that few drainage channels are not capable to direct the designed discharge out of <br /> <br /> the area. Programming result shows that there is one channel not capable of <br /> <br /> directing the flood. Thus, expanding the width of the inadequate channels will be <br /> <br /> the proposed alternative solution.
