Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero). Geographically, Bitung port is located on the north of Sulawesi Island, with coordinate of 01° 26' 00” N / 125° 11' 00” E. Bitung port was appointed as International Hub Port (IHP), as mentioned in Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) No.26 Year 2008 about National Urban Spatial Planning. However, the existing (environment) location of Bitung port is no longer efficient to be used as international hub port. This is because according to ministerial decrees KM 53 Year 2002 Article 10 Paragraph 1, as one of the requirement for International Hub Port (IHP), the port must have at least the capacity of 2.500.000 Teus. Because of that, other location should be sought for the replacement of the development location. The location which was selected as development location for Bitung port to be International Hub Port (IHP) was Tanjung Merah, Special Economy Region (KEK) of Bitung city. <br /> <br /> <br /> This case study of thesis about Design of Container Dock Structure of Bitung Port, Bitung, North Sulawesi will discuss about design of dock structure based on design criteria used as the requirement of design by considering the existing condition (environment) on the location of study. The thesis will include general dock layout determination, dock dimensions, environmental data processing, load calculations on the dock, structural modeling, structural reinforcement design, and soil bearing capacity calculations. <br /> <br /> <br /> Structural analysis was performed with the help of structure analysis software SAP2000. The Obtained UCR for dock pile is 0.85. The pile foundation is designed to a depth of thirty-one meters from the sea floor. <p align="justify"> <br /> text
