PT. Dirgantara Indonesia originally supply the clean water for the purpose of the production and domestic from PDAM. Since 1988, PTDI have built water treatment plant, and use deepwell to fulfill its clean water. Until now, WTP and deepwell still operated as clean water supply for various needs. But, the quality and quantity of raw water source from Cibeureum River become the main problem. The water treatment plant in PT. Dirgantara Indonesia is package plant and has capacity of 27,833 L/s. The discharge average of Cibeureum River is 1,4 m3/s. Based on developing analysis, PTDI has the opportunity to increase the production about 20%, so the increasing of the capacity in WTP will be needed. In addition, based on the results of the lab that has been carried out using jartest method, the quality of Cibeureum River contains the high value of total dissolved solids, it means retrofitting will be needed to improve the quality of clean water, and able to fulfill the standard quality of the Department of Surface Treatment. Retrofitting of WTP is plan to operate for 20 years with capacity of 36,74 L/s. The plan of retrofitting done by converting conventional system applied in WTP being a system of advanced treatment. System planned to use a unit of drum screen filter, replacement the media on dynasand tank, using reverse osmosis membrane, and sludge handling by thickener and beltpress. Installation would also be equipped with supporting building, where system made to put in buildings to make uncontaminated by external factors. Non-technical analysis done with the plant cost estimate (bill of quantity) and five aspects analysis, which are risk, uncertainty, life cycle principle, sustainability, and the environmental impact. text |
