Summary: | <p align="justify"> Human activities get more varied daily, this causes the need for an increase in work efficiency that helps human by eliminating some activities. In addition, technological developments are increasing in tandem with the development of computers and the internet. One of the most efficient human activities is household activities. Activities at home have some constraints such as monotonous, ineffective, and inefficient work. In fact, some of these jobs do not have to be done directly by humans. This can be overcome by automating household appliances in order for people to have access to practical controls as well as good monitoring facilities for their homes. In addition, humans can arrange their own scheme of some work on his home. Automation is done by embedding microcontroller pieces on every piece of furniture in the house to connect to a system. Therefore, it needs a system that can be the center of work, data storage, and also the media communication between users with their home environment. The development of this system is centered on the establishment of local servers and cloud servers, and web pages with good stability, fast and accurate communication, and provide certain schemes for users. The realization of this system begins with a study of literature related to home automation and the concept of the internet of things that have been developed previously, and also we determine the specifications of the system. After that, the design of communication schemes and system in general. The next stage, followed by designing the algorithm on each component. Finally, the implementation and testing of the system have been made. It is hoped that the completed system can be the basis for the development of more advanced home automation. <p align="justify"> |
