Indonesia is a tropical country that found many springs. However, the utilization of springs that have not been maximal, some people in Indonesia has difficulty to fulfill their necessary of water especially in remote areas. An example is in Ambarisan, Kec. Sidamanik, Kab. Simalungun, North Sumatra. To meet the water needs, will be optimized the design of watering system with solar panel technology. The components required by utilizing solar panel technology are as follows; one solar module type monocrystalline 200 Wp, one semi-jet pump with total head reach 18 m, one MPPT controller charger with minimum current of 9 A and minimum voltage of 36,2 V, one battery 24 V, 110 Ah and one inverter with a minimum power of 400 W.

text
