Description
Summary:Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world where the area is made up of so many small islands. With such conditions, equal distribution of electricity is a challenge that must be faced. To date, there are still many small islands that have not been connected to the PLN distribution network and use diesel generators as the main energy source to meet their electricity needs. One of the islands with such conditions is Sebira Island, an island which is the northernmost in Kepulauan Seribu. On the other hand, Indonesia's territory located on the equator has quite high solar energy potential. This final project report aims to discuss how to determine renewable fraction for the design of hybrid power plant systems off-grid between PV and diesel in the Sebira Island, Kepulauan Seribu. Analysis will be carried out using the HOMER pro software.
