In addition to the comfort factor at the time of use, an important factor in the selection of shoes is the ease in the selection of sizes in accordance with the wearer's feet and easier also for shoe manufacturers. <br /> <br /> This study aims to get the size of shoes (shoe last) by measuring the 18 dimensions of anthropometry of the foot. Based on the level of importance, interviews and correlation results, from 18 anthropometric dimensions obtained three main dimensions to determine the design of shoes (shoe last). The main dimensions are the length of the sole of the foot, the width of the sole of the foot and the width of the heel of the foot. This study involved 595 participants of the population of West Java, especially the city of Bandung to represent the population of Indonesia. Each participant was asked to measure the anthropometry of the foot. Measurements using the two-dimensional method using a measuring instrument. <br /> <br /> Shoe size for Indonesian male and female population, obtained shoe size 36 to 43 based on three dimensions of foot anthropometry main used for designing and making shoe last.
