The research method is literature study, experiment and field observation. The background of this research is the geographical condition of Indonesia which is in the subduction zone so that makes this land fertile and rich in mining materials. The collision in the subduction zone causes the cracking of some parts of the earth's crust and causes new magma that moves upward toward the earth's surface. This magma continues to move up through the cracks to form frozen rocks and volcanic cones. When the eruption, magma turned into volcanic material that precipitates and undergoes weathering so that formed various types of rocks. Hot clouds that settle on the slopes and exposed to rain will experience a series of chemical reactions to form salt. In this salt there are nutrients available to the plant. The Papandayan volcanic soil chemical analysis results indicate that this soil contains very low N elements, very high P elements and low K elements. The low content of N and K elements because these two elements are easy to wash. However, the volcanic soil texture has good porosity thus ensuring the availability of air and water for plant growth. In addition to fertility, various volcanic materials are also useful for the manufacture of building materials, such as red brick, cement, brick and paving blocks. Hot clouds that precipitate have properties like cement. Based on experimental results, it can be concluded that the mixture between volcanic ash and water will produce material such as concrete. The addition of lime tohor to this mixture increased the level of hardness with the Mohs scale between 2.5-5.5. Therefore, the process of making cement is a process of mimicking the incidence of eruption. Cement can be analogous to the effort of bagging hot clouds that have been cold, by first heating and making it into flour.<p align="justify"> text
