Earlier, the Asphalt Pavement Alliance (2000) introduced a new design concept of perpetual pavement that may last for 50 years o more by employing mechanistic – empirical. While perpetual pavement design limits the strain levels in the asphalt layers and the subgrade to prevent fatigue occurring in the structure, general mechanistic design allows higher strains to take place but controlling their repetitions to not exceeding those specified in the design. Asphalt layers in perpetual pavement consist of three different layers, i.e wearing coarse, binder coarse, and asphalt base. The asphalt base as focused in this research should be more fatigue cracking resistance typically made of asphalt mix at higher filler and asphalt content. Three difference guidelines are studied. They are coarse and fine asphalt base material as specified in Bina Marga Specification (2012), and the Asphalt Institute gradation with nominal max aggregate size of 19 mm. The asphalt used has Penetration Grade 60/70 and 3% added polymer. In this study, the asphalt mixtures are analyzed in terms of their characteristics with respect to fatigue cracking performed using UMATTA, Wheel Tracking, and Fatigue testing. Characteristics of the mixture with respect to load are analyzed in terms of the correlation between Marshall and materials. Shell calculation is used to analyze the modulus and fatigue cracking. Finally, additional simulations are performed using PerpetualPavementDK software. Based on simulation results, design lifetimes are obtained for asphalt mixtures with Penetration Grade 60/70.<p align ="justify"> text
