Metro Kapsul is expected to be a public transportation that can save travel time, especially in developed cities where time is precious. Before it operates, a series of technical analysis and evaluation is needed to ensure the feasibility and safety of the vehicle. One of them is vehicle stability analysis. <br /> <br /> Research begins with literature studies, discussion, data collection, and formulation of load cases. From the cases which has been developed, the theoretical calculations of the loading cases are done. After that, the model of Metro Kapsul is developed and simulated on SIMPACK. From the simulation results, validation is done for the vertical force and lateral force of the tires. If the result is valid, the results can be determined based on ANSI / ASCE / T & DI 21.2-08. <br /> <br /> The value of the theoretical results tends to be higher than the value of the simulation result. This is due to the complexity of the model, such as the presence of water spring, damper, wheels, and antiroll bars that allow for component deflection. In addition, the controller application on SIMPACK also influences the simulation results. Longitudinal acceleration of Metro Kapsul is 3.25 km/hr.s, Longitudinal deceleration is 3.5 km/hr.s, and emergency longitudinal deceleration is 4.5 km/hr.s. When cornering, the lateral operating acceleration is 0.6 m/s2. Thus, the speed of the Kapsul Metro at a turn is 10.8 km/hr at a radius of 15 m and rises steadily until the winding speed is 24.94 km/h at a radius of 80 m. <br /> text
