The input were energy, water, and feed. This input was produced the output, such as emissions, solid waste and liquid waste. This research compared the maintenance system in PT. UPBS and KPBS Pengalengan. The data was collected from 30 local farmers and one modern farm. This research was used Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method. Life cycle assessment is based on ISO 14040. LCA consists of several stages: the goal and scope definition, inventory analysis, impact assessment, and interpretation. This research were use the cradle to gate concept and Fat Corrected Milk (FCM) as the function unit. The impacts of these activities could be generated a Global Warming Potential, Acidification Potential, Eutrophication Potential, and Photochemical Ozone Creation Potential. The calculations showed that the system in KPBS had the greatest emissions result from all impact. There were Global Warming Potential was 2.34 kg CO<sub>2</sub> eq/liter of milk FCM, Acidification Potential was 0.12 g SO<sub>2</sub> eq/liter of milk FCM, Eutrophication Potential was 18.28 g PO4<sup>3-</sup> eq/liter milk FCM, and Photochemical Ozone Creation Potential was 0.46 g ethane eq/liter milk FCM. While the amount of impact in PT UPBS were GWP of 1.52 kg CO<sub>2</sub> eq/liter of milk FCM, AP of 0.02 g SO<sub>2</sub> eq/liter of milk FCM, EP of 0.353 g PO4 <sup>3-</sup> eq/liter of milk FCM and POCP 0.16 g ethane eq/liter of milk FCM. Based on the totalweighted, the GWP had the greatest impact from overall life cycle phase of milk production. The total-weighted obtained of Rp. 7351/liter of milk FCM in KPBS and Rp. 3922/liter of milk FCM in PT. UPBS. This amount could be used to wiliness to pay the environmental impacts of Global Warming, Acidification, <br /> Eutrophication, and Photochemical Ozone Creation recovery.<p align="justify"> text |
