Beginning with the author’s issue with recurrent depression, which brings <br /> <br /> <br /> about the experiences of emptiness and loneliness, the author found it hard to <br /> <br /> <br /> communicate the feelings through words to make other people understand. This <br /> <br /> <br /> issue had pushed the author to confront the problems firsthand and communicate <br /> <br /> <br /> said feelings through painting. “Keresahan Visceral Akan Kekosongan” is a series <br /> <br /> <br /> of painting and the author’s take on communicating and representing the emptiness <br /> <br /> <br /> and loneliness. Scenes depicting human figures in a dimly lit room, with both beams <br /> <br /> <br /> of light and protruding darkness to emphasize the feeling of emptiness and <br /> <br /> <br /> loneliness, chosen as an emotional representation of said feelings. The author hopes <br /> <br /> <br /> to evoke similar feelings of emptiness and loneliness in the audience.
