Summary:Uncontrolled electrical energy can lead to energy wastage. One method to save energy is energy conservation technique based on internet of things. Energy conservation on air conditioning can be done by controlling the AC compressor. AC compressor will work in accordance with the state of the room. AC performance will be divided into two types: performance with control of room temperature and without control. Room temperature limits used are 25o-23.8oC, 25o-23.6oC, 25o23.4oC, and 25o-23.2oC. While the temperature set without limitation is 25oC on the remote AC. The data is collected for 2 hours and the data obtained can be monitored through EMONCMS. AC power used when not given a control is 3.13161 kWh while with the method of conservation the power usage on AC decreased to 55.27%. Efficiency and coefficient values λ and μ are very influenced by outdoor temperature. This shows with the internet of things system, conservation method on AC can be done.
