Summary: | <p align="justify">Jakarta Garden City is an integrated area in East Jakarta which will offer 7,000 residential properties for the upper middle class community in Jakarta. Answering the concept of eco-township and mixed land use put forward by the developers, the latest project from Jakarta Garden City is a 25-storey apartment building named Amazonia Tower. This apartment will not only facilitate residential area, but also become a commercial area that provide 49 units of shophouses and fitness centers. With the construction of multi-functional buildings in this area, the planning of the transportation system needs to be done. This will include to forecast traffic demand, to know how much trip that will be revived, traffic management, parking planning and design, and design of flexible pavement on access road and parking lot. In the design process, the main thing to do is an analysis of the amount of traffic demand so that from this demand is known the amount of infrastructure facilities that must be met. By knowing the amount of traffic demand, and seeing the pattern of vehicles coming out and entering the area of apartment buildings that have similarity in characteristics, designed a parking park and parking lot that can facilitate the parking space needs of apartment building users of Amazonia Tower. Not forgetting to park parking and access roads, designed flexible pavement in accordance with the volume of traffic and ground layer strength conditions. Then carried out a traffic management in both the apartment area and the Jakarta Garden City area to improve the efficiency of the regional traffic movement and to improve the safety of road users. From the design results obtained trips rise of 3,640 trips / day and traction of 2,979 trips / day. Of this number of trips, the need for parking space that should be facilitated in the area of the apartment building is as much as 219 parking plots for passenger cars and 67 plots of parking vehicles motorcycles. From the amount of traffic load generated from the apartment building, as well as the parking load, the total thickness of the access road pavement is 440 mm while for the parking park is 393.7 mm. For traffic management, traffic movement arrangement in Jakarta Garden City area is focused on calculating the capacity of segments and intersections to see the traffic performance as well as the circulation of vehicles within the Jakarta Garden City area. From this traffic management process, there are several segments of roads recommended for widening. And the design of the road bend is not appropriate. Therefore, an evaluation of the traffic management of the Jakarta Garden City area, in particular is the Amazonia Tower Apartment.<p align="justify"> <br />
