Description
Summary:Reservoir X is a gas reserovir that has been produced since 1991. Reservoir X consists of 20 wells with 6 producing wells. The producing wells mostly have formation damage. Formation damage is an important factor affecting the ability of wells in producing fluids.

In this study, the magnitude of formation damage was calculated by matching nodal analysis between well conditions and simulation in PROSPER software. Then predicted the Expected Ultimate Recovery (EUR) value for each well in damage and non-damage (S = 0) with Decline Curve Analysis method. The EUR value obtained will then be interpreted into the bubble map assuming the drainage radius is a circle and the well is at the center of the circle. From this experiment, visible in reservoir X there is a difference of drainage radius between damage and non-damage wells of 200-1200 ft with skin 4-26. This difference in drainage radius values can be used to exploit areas with the potential to still have gas.
