<p align="justify">Indonesia is a big country. Nevertheless school dropouts are still common. According to UNESCO only 0.001% of the people in Indonesia have an interest in reading. This is an interesting fact for education facilities are more than adequate all around the nation. The problem is they have a formal impression and seems to be boring amongst the society. Thus, a well-designed library that could break those mindsets is important. With technology taking over the world people sometimes wonder wheather it is still necessary to have a library. In fact it is. Digital datas have various sources and could be accessed as well as modified by anybody, including those who have no expertise. Most of those which the contents are guaranteed are usually not free. Thus useful and trusted digital informations are rare and limited. Libraries nowadays, however, have to cope up with the new era of information to always expand the qualities and quantities of knowledge they provide. Therefore libraries today may have different design approach than the old ones. The chosen project is a public local library. It is situated on Jl. Elang, Andir, Bandung, with a total design area of 11.099 m2. The facility includes a library, an auditorium, a multipurpose room, classes, a café, and a bookshop. In response to the neighborhood demand of a public space and an open space as well as to maintain the humble appearance of the city, the project has taken Architecture as A Landscape as a main concept. It is hopefully to increase the qualities of the locals and be the center of activities around.<p align="justify">
