For <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> this reason, research is needed to determine what kind of baffle that perform best in <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> increasing the heat transfer value between block of ice and brine. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> To determine this kind of baffle, 2 dimensional brine flow simulation is simulated <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> with a configuration without baffles and 4 different types of baffles. The results of the <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> simulation are the average heat transfer coefficient of convection and heat flux in each ice <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> container. This value is compared and with other considerations such as ease of installation, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> vertical baffle is chosen.
