So it is very important to pay attention to the drilling activities and drilling mud that are used in accordance with the reservoir conditions so that the field production can be maximized. <br /> <br /> In this study we will discuss the evaluation of formation damage due to drilling fluid type OBM to well performance of well X in the Z field. The first thing to do is to see how much formation damage in every zone. Then, the analysis for the cause of the formation damage will be discussed specified from the aspect of drilling fluid. <br /> <br /> From the analysis, it shows that many zones in well X have relatively high formation damage. This is because the mud weight used in drilling is high enough that there is a high pressure difference between mud weight and reservoir pressure that causes the invasion of filtrate mud into formation becomes high. <br /> text
