Waves have an esthetique movement that it creates, from a perfectly regular to a chaotic motion, as stated by M.Macango from his journal called Aqua Depicta. Colour wise, because of the light effect from the sun, it creates various types of colours on the surface of the sea, from light blue, dark blue, green and also brown, if it is mixed with sand/soil. By using the slabbing and handbuild technique, with the help of some ceramic tools, the shapes of the waves are able to be formed and colour wise, it can be achieved by using stains as colourant.
This exploration is made to find the potential of the marbling engobe to make a ceramic product with the visualization of waves. The final assignment is to explore marbling engobe as the main decoration technique on the surface of the ceramic and bone china as the main material will be made into an accessories fashion product which is the jewellery.
