This research was aimed to identify research area geological setting and to <br /> characterize Melange cropped out in this area. Detiled geological mapping at a scale of 1:5,000 on chosen traverse conducted to achieve these objectives. <br /> Research area morphology consists of hills, ridges, and valleys controlled by lithology constituent and geological structures such as fault and fold. Melange Complex as the oldest units (Late Cretaceous – Paleocene) is a product of subduction between Indo-Australian and Eurasian plates, overlain unconformably with Claystone Unit (Middle – Late Eocene) and Clay Breccia Unit (Late Eocene – Late Oligocene) as olistostrome deposits. Overlying on these unit is Volcanic Breccia Unit (Early Miocene) as a result from volcanism activity at that time. Recent Alluvial Deposit overlay uncorfomably on other units that has been cropped out. The NE-SW, N-S, dan NW-SE trends fault and E-W trend anticline developed in research area. <br /> Melange Complex characterized by boudinaged fragments consists of mafic-ultramafic rocks, granitic rocks, pelagic sedimentary rocks, and various metamorphic rocks embedded tectonically in sheared and low-grade metamorphosed scaly claystone-siltstone matrix. Maficultramfic rocks and pelagic sedimentary rocks dominantly cropped out in southern and eastern part of research area, whereas granitic rocks and metamorphic rocks dominantly cropped out in western and northern part of research area. Relationship between blocks and blocks with matrix is a tectonic contact.<p align="justify"> text
