Summary:<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> Smart Traffic Management System is a system that manage the traffic via traffic light engineering at intersections, through updates of traffic data and direct traffic control expected to reduce the level of unbalanced density as one cause of congestion. Traffic video took via streaming from camera that will be processed to obtain traffic data which then this data will be processed to generate control data that will be used by the Controller to do traffic light engineering. <br /> <br /> The detector development on the Smart Traffic Management System uses the OpenCV library to detect and count the number of vehicles, stored in comma separated value files on the server to be read by the system software. Software on Smart Traffic Management System consists of two main processing parts, front-end and back-end processing. The front-end is used as an interface interaction with the user to be able to observe traffic or system activity at the intersection associated with the system. The process on the back-end performs traffic data processing to generate control data to be sent to the controller. The Smart Traffic Management System controller and traffic model use Arduino as a central and local controller, some of led and 7-segment as a four-cross traffic model. Testing is done by performance checking of every part of the system check the input or output, obtained results where the whole system can work well simultaneously and Real-Time. <br /> <p align="justify">
