The measurements were conducted on 9-10 August 2015 during spring tide and is represent the dry season. Measurement point consists of 11 stations starting from point A1 which located at the mouth of the estuary to the point A11 which is the point farthest station from the mouth of estuary and the distance between the stations is 200m. Measurement parameters of Oceanography conducted on three depths (0,2h; 0,6h and 0,8h) with four tidal conditions (heading tide, flood tide, falling tide and ebb tide). Muara Angke has diurnal tidal type with water level range between 0,98m – 1,41m and average discharge rate of 7,75 m3/s. Salinity distribution along the estuary when the flood tide is in the range of 18-28 ppt and while during the ebb tide condition only 0,1-8 ppt. It shows the tidal conditions has greatly affect the salinity in estuaries. The results showed that the Muara Angke has partially mixed estuary type reviewed based on salinity profiles and calculation of the estuary number. The numbers of estuary are Volume Ratio (N) = 0,337; Estuaries Number (Ed) = 0,279 and Richardson (R) = 0,593 which shows that the Muara Angke is a partially mixed estuary. Tidal conditions at the location shows the asymmetry of the tidal conditions where flood tide conditions (15 hours) was much longer than the ebb one (9 hours). text
