Summary:
Based on a survey in 2012, there is only 24,96% amount of people in Indonesia who do exercises on their weekend. The numbers are categorized low, compared to other countries which has reached 2-3 times higher. The unstable performance of Indonesia in sports becomes a problematic occurrence in most of its fields. Slow regeneration cycle, and weak in morale and sportsmanship become problems which have not yet been resolved.

To build a certain facility that educates people about the importance of sport is one of the solution to the stated problems. The facility could encourage people to do sports more actively, and could also bring in more athletes in the future. It also becomes a medium to appreciate the athletes and their achievement, therefore the role of athletes could be more acknowledged in the society. A facility to educate, appreciate and inspire people could be generated through the function of a museum.

However, museums in Indonesia have its own discourses and problems at the present time. Perception on how people see museum in a conventional way comes to a condition of lacking visitors. Hence, the museum needs a certain method and features that are more interactive to attract its visitors.
