Summary: | <p align="justify">Tanjung Priok Port is a main seaport in Indonesia that has an important role in national and international economic connectivity. A new terminal named Terminal Kalibaru will be built within Tanjung Priok as regional development plan by the government. Facilities will be constructed to support the new terminal, one of them is a wharf. Wharf structure need to be properly designed for a save docking, loading and unloading process. <br />
<br />
On this thesis, the deck on pile wharf structural design that consists of reinforced concrete as upper structure and steel pile as substructure in Container Terminal 4 Kalibaru will be analyzed and discussed. Design process that will be analyzed including environmental conditions analysis, determination of structural geometry, load calculation, structural analysis, structural element reinforcement, and analysis of precast concrete construction. All the process above are complying with applicable standards. <br />
<br />
Structural analysis is done by using structural modelling using SAP2000 software. Wharf structure models are composed of pile, pile cap, beam and plate and will be analyzed by applying load with certain combination and it will be analyzed based on unity check ratio, deflection, internal force, and reaction force. The result on unity check ratio and reaction force will be used to examine pile strength and soil bearing capacity, and as for internal force will be used to upper structure element reinforcement. <br />
<br />
Analysis of precast concrete construction will be done on upper structure in pile cap, beam and plate by using examination on lifting condition, installation condition, lifting hook design, shear connector design and the design length of canalization. The result of the thesis will be wharf structural dimension that could resist the load.<p align="justify"> |
