Therefore, the government plans to build a Woman and Children Hospital class B with a capacity of 80 beds in a new location that is on A.H. Nasution Street, Ujungberung with 12000 m2 site area. This hospital prioritizes services to the lower middle class in order to get the same health services as otherm communities/high class people. Due to limited funds, the building must be designed environmentally friendly, energy efficient, inexpensive in the process of evelopment and maintenance. As a woman and children hospital, the psychological side should be included as a concern in designing process. Woman and children are more sensitive and susceptible to stress. Hospitals should be designed as comfortable as possible for woman/mother and children, also can accommodate all activities according to their characteristics. Many visitors that come at the same time also need to be considered in the design. The basic concept of woman and children hospital design is family-oriented hospital. Hospitals not only consider the needs of the patient, but also the needs of the family as companion or visitors. Family is one of the healing factors for woman/mother and children. Inpatient rooms are designed to be family-friendly and can accommodate large numbers of visitors. Application of healing environment is inseparable from the design of this hospital.<p align="justify"> text
