The portable VEP will be designed to be cheaper and easier to use because all the control functions are performed on the Graphical User Interface (GUI). Because VEP is designed is a mobile application, it will be VEP process using wavelet denoising method on GUI. <br />
<br />
To be able to find the VEP way on the Elektroencephalogram signal (EEG), the method is by decoising decomposition according to wavelet. The decomposition process becomes the process of breaking the process into several components with a lower settlement. Two-stage decomposition process is filtering and down-sampling. This wavelet decomposition uses a wavelet transform of Discrete Wavelete Transform (DWT) type with mother wavelet which is Biorthogonal. After obtaining the VEP signal, a search point P100 as one of the supporting indicators of medical measurements to confirm the level of patient blindness. The expected result display that the P100 at about 100 milliseconds (no more than 130 ms) with an expected amplitude of approximately 10 micro volts. <p align="justify"> |
