The field consists of multiple blocks, among them is LBlock <br /> <br /> located north east of Virgo Field. Producing reservoirs is MFS-1 – FS-1 interval which is part of Duri Formation. To maximize well production, more knowledge about reservoir is required, such as qualitative and quantitative analysis, involving depositional environment, facies association, reservoir petro-physical properties and theirdistribution. The data used in this research consist of wireline log of 138 wells with one well core 61 feet long. <br /> <br /> Core Analysis and biostratigraphic data show that Duri Formation deposited on Early Miocene in estuary transition environment. Litology of research interval is consist of estuarine channel, tidal sand bar, tidal mud flat, and <br /> <br /> marine shale. facies association and geometry of estuarine channel show that sedimentation trend is NE-SW. <br /> <br /> Petrophysical analysis show that average value of effective porosity is 0.33 and water saturation is 0.43. Original Oil In Place (OOIP) in the reservoir is 35.9 <br /> <br /> Million barrels. Based on Hydrocarbon Porosity Thickness (HPT) map, which is multiplication of oil saturation, porosity, and net pay (thickness), the area of good HPT is an interval in block L is SW and east, this coincides with distribution of estuarine channel, that shows a future opportunity for L-block development in Virgo Field.<p align="justify"> text |
