Description
Summary:Increasing temperature triggered by the high levels of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions including the CO2 generated a lot of road construction, Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) is a technology based on environmentally friendly.

Percentage Sasobit® use by 3 % while Leadcap® of 1% of the weight of the asphalt. The performance WMA mixtures were measured and compared with a mixture of HMA to see properties of bitumen and the advanced rheology, while

the performance of the mixture obtained from testing Marshall, UMATTA to compare resilient modulus and to see fatigue resistance.

The test results showed the addition of additives DSR Leadcap and Sasobit® can change the nature of the asphalt becomes more elastic. Mixing and compaction temperatures WMA with additives Sasobit® at a temperature of 134°C/124°C while Leadcap® 124°C/114°C, where the results showed a mixture of HMA marshall higher than WMA mix. The test results UMATTA at a temperature of 25°C and 45°C the highest value on the WMA mixture with Sasobit® (3150 Mpa).

The test results showed fatigue WMA mixtures with additives Leadcap® and Sasobit® increased fatigue life.

Generally the additives can improve the performance of the mixture by mixing and compaction temperatures lower than HMA
