Description
Summary:RW 06 Cipaganti has Low Income Community (MBR) which has the potential of water resources from a spring named Ciseke. The spring has 5L / s in discharge utilized by the local community through local water groups. Evaluation of existing condition shows that SPAM development type that will be conducted is technical design of SPAM unit component through adding and improving the physical system (engineering) of building with 10 year design period and making institutional, management, finance, and community role in SPAM implementation. SPAM components consist broncaptering (2.23 mx 2.23 mx 2 m), 2 units of disinfection (1.825 mx 1.5 mx 1 m) with gravity feeding system, ground reservoir (2.03 mx 3.04 mx 4 m), elevated reservoir (total head 12,5 m), and distribution network with branch system serving 182 houses and 1 public tap. Total budget for this project is about two hundred and ten million six hundred and forty thousand rupiah. Water tariffs are differentiated by classification of community and water usage. The contribution fee per household is 4 thousand rupiah per month. The risk analysis of SPAM states that the presence of Total Coliform in the drinking water is a dominant factor that will affect the quality of drinking water. Meanwhile, discharge of water resource, water tariff, and cooperation are the factor in the aspect of sustainabilit. The environmental evaluation states that the SPAM project will have an important impact on the social and health aspects also the other physical environments, especially Cikapundung River. A life cycle analysis is conducted to determine aspects of a SPAM activity that will generate waste material and it will consumpt energy. Beside that, it is determined the possible utilization of waste or water leakage during SPAM operations. Analysis of the uncertainty includes uncertainty over water resources, design, demand for water requirements, changes in social patterns and economy.
