A vertical building is usually equipped with a basement for the parking lot as a solution to the problem of land use around the building to park vehicles that usually inhibit traffic. In Indonesia, buildings with upper and basement structures as lower structures are designed with a two-stage analysis method. This method models the upper structure clamped on the ground floor then separately the bottom structure is analyzed. As a country with the meeting of the largest continental plates in the world, Indonesia is famous for the frequent occurrence of earthquakes. Earthquakes will greatly affect the structure. At least the structure should be designed to be able to resist plastic deformation before it finally collapses during an earthquake so that the people in it can save themselves first. This study will discuss the design of buildings with earthquake resistant bottom structures. Earthquake analysis will be carried out by response spectra analysis method for equivalent upper and static lateral structures for the lower structure. The building in this study will be designed in a location that causes this building to have a D seismic design category (KDS D). This building will be designed with a double structure system, namely the Special Structural Wall System (SDSK) and the Special Moment Resisting System (SRPMK) for the upper and lower structures.
