The construction of LNG storage and regasification terminal requires careful planning for the port area because the problems often encountered in port development are the ships size that can be anchored and the shallowing of the shipping lanes associated with the occurrence of sediment. In accordance with these circumstances, a survey activity is needed to find out the information on the condition of the coastal area around the location plan of LNG storage and regasification terminal which includes bathymetry and sedimentation characteristics. The information will be formed in bathymetry maps, analysis of sediment transport, and distribution of sediment types. In this final project, the bathymetry map were analyzed to determine the port entrance flow, analysis of sediment transport to calculate the sedimentation rate, and to visualize the distribution of sediment type distribution. The data obtained is the result of direct measurement in the field and done at some point within the scope of study area. The results show that the port entrance flow can be said to be safe when it reaches a minimum depth of 14 meters and dredging the port entry flow can be done in nterval 9,80 years in the area close to the mainland and 20,83 years in the area leading to oceans. In general, the distribution of sediments found in the study area is very fine sand.<p align = "justify"> text |
