Summary:Biodigester is one example of technology that can process organic waste into a resource that has economic value and useful. Biodigester become the choice of government of Bandung City to solve organic municipal solid waste problem. In its management, generally done by the community. Type of biodigester used on 75% household biodigester and 25% communal biodigester. This research is based on two hypothesis that individual biodigester has better performance than communal biodigester and main in biodigester management lies in technical aspect. The method of analysis used is descriptive, statistics, and comparison. Instruments used: observation, interview, questionnaire and laboratory test of input-ouput from biodigester. Informants or participants used from NGOs (LPTT and YSBB), government (PD Kebersihan, Dinas Tata Ruang Cipta Karya, and BPLH Bandung), and biodigester users. From this study, household biodigester is still widely used with the percentage of use of 48.27%, while people who still use communal biodigester as much as 6.89%. Obstacles in the application of biodigester ddipengaruhi by 3 aspects of technical aspects, aspects of balance, and institutional aspects. For the management of household biodigester.
