Design process that will be analyzed including environmental conditions analysis, refraction-difraction analysis, breakwater dimension design, and reliability analysis due to overtopping. All the process above are complying with applicable standards. Wave modeling is done by using Delft3D software. Hindcasting method is applied to determined wave condition that later is used as wave load input for Delft3D. By using Delft3D-wave, the best of breakwater layout can be determined. The chosen layout then gives wave height in front of port, as mooring process when ship berthed. Breakwater design is calculated by using the maximum wave height occured. Relevant stochastic parameter are characterized prior to a reliability evaluation. Therefore, identification of wave distribution will be determined and gives the probability of failure. Probability of failure is also calculated by using run-up and simulation. Monte Carlo method is applied for reliability using simulation. Minitab 18 gives Gumbel distribution as the most relevant to figure the wave conditions in the site. Monte Carlo’s analysis results probability of failure 0,0095 for west site, 0,0021 for north site and 0,003 for east site. This result shows that designed breakwater is reliable due to overtopping.<p align="justify"> text |
