<p align="justify">Enhancing education quality in schools can be performed by lots of methods, among others, improving teaching-learning method, applying attractive teaching methods, supplying sufficiently school facilities, identifying those factors that affect students' learning achievement, etc. To obtain information, it needs to carry out a statistic analysis, that is, students' score data processing. <br /> <br /> The research was conducted on the students of grade-XII IPA 1 and grade-XII IPA 2 at Padangsidimpuan MAN 1 of 2015/2016 academic year by analyzing semester final examination scores. The research objective was to determine the competences of students at the two classes, to compare the competences of students at both classes, and to see what courses are predominant at both classes. The statistical analysis method used was descriptive analysis and inference analysis. The descriptive analysis was applied to see the general description of data, and the inference analysis was applied to infer or discern the differences of the researched sample. To see the closeness of two courses, a correlational test was carried out. Moreover, by using a coefficient of correlation, MST (Minimum Spanning Tree) was applied to determine what course was the center at the two classes. <br /> <br /> The results of the student score data processing may expectantly be useful for teacher's and schools in enhancing students' competence, and become a reference for teacher's and schools in order that they are capable of enhancing the quality of education at their school.<p align="justify">
