Summary:Transportation mode continues to grow rapidly and quickly. A sophisticated transportation mode can facilitate the movement, people and goods. The use of private vehicles is still dominate the trip. The existence of a parking lot at a public transport stop may increase public interest in switching modes. The concept of parking for the transition from private vehicles to public transport is called park and ride. Park and ride influence the mode selections, where the availability of park and ride can be a trigger to switch in to public transportation. The location of the park and overlap facilities with standard park and ride needs. Park and ride location in big city determines standard of location and design criteria. The standard compability of park and ride criteria provides more benefits for users. There are gaps between the existing facility with the standard from criteria of location and design at the park and ride location Kampung Rambutan Terminal. The results of the study will provide improvement directives for the selection of park and ride facility locations that meet the criteria and standards for growing interest of private vehicle users to move to mass public transportation by looking suitability of park facilities and up with standard criteria in accordance with the park and ride literature. <br /> <br /> <br /> Keywords: Park-and-Ride, standard compability, improvement directives <br />
