This success behind this was initiated by a strong networking with stakeholders, particularly Government, for their driver was to develop coffee originated from West Java and the marginalized producers as well. However, due to some disagreement with Moroccan party, KMMTH’s exporting business had to cease resulting to shift totally to operating coffee business in the domestic market in 2015. Since then, there is always an excess of supply as it is not totally absorbed by the demand. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Related to the business issue, the objective of this research is to figure out the problems that cause the excess of supply not fully absorbed by the demand, then finally finding out the proposed business solutions to address this issue. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> To explore the problems, there are various analyses conducted such as production analysis, market analysis, consumption analysis, PESTLE analysis, Porter’s Five Forces, stakeholder analysis, value chain analysis, and inclusive business assessment, then, formulating root cause analysis with the tool called Current Reality Tree (CRT). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Seven root causes are gathered, therefore, the solutions are developing sourcing capability, owning Fairtrade certification, developing collaboration, improving trading house practice, developing marketing efforts, developing human capital management and training, and developing methods of payment.
