Company that use effective operation management must have mission, so it's can be known its purpose and direction, and operation strategy is used to know way reaches mission. One of form of operation strategy is determines alternative of maintenance execution with provided internally or getting from outside known as make or buy decision.<p>Operation strategy bent on to determine more advantageous execution alternative. Determination of alternative maintenance execution can be determined with financial and non financial consideration. Financial consideration is conducted by compare to expense of each alternative. Non financial consideration conducted with consideration of quality, human resource, and existing legal force. This paper reports of operation strategy of Lombok International Airport. The result of this study are expected to show operation strategy of maintenance runway that more advantageous.<p>The scope of this study includes of study of maintenance operation strategy with non financial consideration, as well as financial consideration. Method than used in financial consideration is break even point analysis.<p>According to analysis result, maintenance activity according to non financial consideration that better conducted with provided internally is inspection of runway, repair hedge of runway, sweeping runway, inspection object obstacle, and repair runway, and maintenance activity that better conducted with getting from outside is overlay runway. Maintenance activity according to financial consideration that better conducted with provided internally is painting sign of runway and maintenance activity that better conducted with getting from outside such as maintenance of drainage, clean rubber deposite, and grass cutting. <br /> <br />
