The development on a city will have an impact on the physical changes of the city. The bigger a city, then it will also increasingly complex problems. The problems which very correlated to the development of a city is the problem of the decrease of surface soil (land subsidence). Due to land subsidence has already felt, such as the widespread flooding spots, the more frequent occurrence of floods caused by the sea water, and the damage to the road or construction. The main cause of land subsidence in Jakarta is taking of excessive underground water and also the load of the building. Based on several studies, Jakarta experienced a deformation about 3 to 10 cm / year, to reach 20 to 25 cm / year in the specific locations and within a certain period.

Research methods used in this research is a survey of GPS and InSAR data modified from the results of research results Estelle Chaussard journal, F. A.-H. (2012) "Sinking cities in Indonesia: ALOS PALSAR detects rapid subsidence due to groundwater and gas extraction". GPS and InSAR method is used to get a decrease in land subsidence in the region of DKI Jakarta. Based on the results of this study, the value of land subsidence in DKI Jakarta in 20072011 range from 0 to 10,2569 cm / year, and in 2016-2017 range 0 to 10,326 cm / year.

text
