Children are often considered as marginal society, policy and subjects related to children urgency also often considered less important than other. According to UNICEF, 1/3 of world population are children, and half of them are under poverty. Thus the needs of planning to acomodate Children needs and Planning which facilitate the right environment for children to grow, is actually demanding. One of the solution is Child Friendly City. Child Friendly City became a recent issue among big cities around the globe. But child friendly city planning in Indonesia the awareness of Child Friendly City Planning is still minim. There are only several big cities in Indonesia that already applied this concept in their City Planning such as Jakarta, Denpasar, Bandung, and Surakarta. But as a matter of fact the actual condition is different from the plan, not only as a Child friendly city but also as a city for children to grow. Under Presidential Decision Number 36 Year of issue 1990 states that a convention about children rights, which also controls The Children safety and security rights, Children Education rights, and Children participation rights, has been held and initiated the developing of Children Friendly City Concept. <br /> <br /> This mini Thesis involved Children in participation process to generate The City of Their Dream according to their own perception with expectations that The Child Friendly city planning concept will accomodate children’s needs well. The children perceptions then combined with expert perception about how do they consider the concept of Children Friendly City. There are three experts from different dicipline of study and role, they are The founder of Parenting Community, an Environmental Psycholog Expert, and Urban Planning Expert. Both perception then combined and generate three principals, accomodating children’s right, Sustainable Development,and Good Governance application.
