Along with advances in technology and information, emerged online transportation services as one of the modes of transportation of choice in Bandung. But as the development, the presence of online transportation becomes competitor of the existing public transportation. It is likely to be the reason why more passengers stop using public transportation. Bandung City Government is currently planning the construction of LRT (Light Rail Transit) and BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) as modern mass public transport for the community. With the ongoing operation of online transportation it is feared to become a competing mode and undermine the sustainable transportation system. To be able to increase the use of public transport, consideration of factors that influence the use of online modes is required. Information on the factors of using online modes is known from the users of online transport located in the office area, education and trade and services. The most significant factors affecting the selection of online modes are travel time, travel rates, convenience and safety. While the characteristics of users that affect the use of online transportation modes are gender, age and type of work. By identifying the factors that influence the use of online transportation it can be used as a consideration to be able to improve the existing public transportation services or those being planned in the future in order to create sustainable transportation. But the improvement of public transport services, may only be able to attract some users of online transport.
