Evapotranspiration is one of the important processes in the hydrologic cycle in knowing the need and availability of water in the agricultural sector. The amount of water needed for the plant at each stage of palm oil plant growth is important to know, in order to support the increase of palm oil productivity. <br />

This research applies remote sensing method from Landsat-8 satellite image by applying surface energy balance model to obtain spatial plant evapotranspiration value in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. In this study also used several theoretical methods such as Penman-Monteith, Priestley-Taylor, and Samani-Hargreaves in comparison. The results of processing of Landsat-8, in each region of the samples showed the value of spatially distributed crop evapotranspiration.
