There is a different treatment from one-phase flow because of the mixture of liquid and gas. This study aims to evaluate Hasan-Kabir’s correlation in calculating flowing temperature of the fluid in the tubing in vertical condensate wells. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on data published by Govier and Fogarasi’s5, Hasan-Kabir’s correlation is quite accurate in calculating the flowing temperature of fluid with an average error of 5.71%. This method was developed based on the principle of energy balance by considering the effects of kinetic and potential energy to provide more accurate results. text |
