IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy) is a radiotherapy technique which provides radiation from several angles. This technique is achived by arranging position of Multi Leaf Collimator (MLC), gantry angle and dose fraction given. Monte Carlo dose calculations using EGSnrc and DOSXYZnrc simulations. The data obtained from rtplan parameter data, and consist of seven angle of irradiation. The phantom is from pelvic CT scan data and read by ctcreate. This simulation has seven different angle arrangement, we can get seven isodotic curves which can be read by DOSXYZ_SHOW. The number of particles used is 109 particles for each simulation, so the total history used is 7 x 109 particles. simulation output file is .3ddose. File .3ddose containing dose calculation, then it can processed and analyzed using the MATLAB code. The result of isodose curve and DVH curve that have been obtained from simulation then compared with curve from treatment using dicompyler. The isodosecurve from simulation results have a minimum dose and maximum which is almost the same as the results of the treatment, even the curve shape is discontinue. The minimum dose is 20% and maximum 80%. The resulting DVH curve is almost identical to that shown from tretament, but DVH from simulation can show only for tissue. So need further study when using ctcreate, so can analysis phantom for anothe spesific material. For one simulation need 24 hour so, total simulation is 168 hours. The solution to make the simulation is to use a better computer specification when performing Monte Carlo simulations. text
